Golf Fore Chai

As we are all too aware, golf courses are sadly closed for the time being and with this in mind, we have had no choice but to postpone our biannual golf day due to be held in April.

However, the good news, of which we can all do with, is that Hartsbourne have kindly managed to find us another date this year and subject to government guidelines, the 2021 Golf Fore Chai day will now be taking place on Monday 9th August.
Every Golf Fore Chai Charity Day has been a resounding success and many of you who have kindly supported us in the past will know that the finishing touches, finesse and attention to detail is what sets our day apart from the others. Although at this stage we are unsure of exactly how it will look, we are confident that this year will be a terrific day, and after a difficult start to 2021, something for everyone to really look forward to.

In today’s world, circumstances are continuously changing, and we are fully aware of just how difficult this past year has been for so many. As a result, we are not asking you to pay for yourself or your team now, instead, please complete the form today reserving your fourball and we will be in touch to redeem your reservation and request payment once lockdown is over.  However, should your circumstances change in the meantime, you will not be obligated in any way to play or pay!

Covid-19 has intensified the need for Chai’s services and since the start of the pandemic, Chai has continued to provide expert and professional counselling for individuals, couples and families via telephone, Skype and Zoom. Having access to online counselling resulted in a 37% rise in the number of clients benefitting from this vital service.

We have all seen the headlines that a direct consequence of the Coronavirus is an inconceivable backlog of people waiting for screenings. This sadly will result in later diagnoses and the need for more invasive/radical surgery and treatment.

You may have seen that Chai’s BIG Campaign raised over £3 million, but due to the ongoing uncertainty of Covid-19, this money will be used to recuperate the losses of 2020. With no statutory funding, Chai still needs to raise £3.3 million this year to ensure that they can continue to be the lifeline for all those who turn to them.
We do hope that we can count on your support once again.   We will endeavour to make this the best golf day yet, with fantastic golf, great food and lots of amazing prizes.  Please reserve your team’s place HERE.
