Club 18 Golf Day Raises Over £52,000 for Chai Cancer Care

The 20th annual Club 18 Golf Day was a tremendous success, raising just over £52,000 in support of Chai’s Counselling services, crucial funding for a service that, as shared on the day, is in increasing demand.

The Men’s Winning Team, Alex Beare, Hylton Treisman, Laura Rael-Brook, and Hilton Lewis delivered an outstanding performance with a score of 95 points.

The Women’s Winning Team, Angela Stern, Judy Lerner, Karen Warwick, and Carole Reuben scored an impressive 94 points.

Runners-up, John Nitka, Solomon Maurice, Stephen Myers, and David Simons achieved a fantastic total of 80 points.

Special congratulations to Peter Goldstein for winning the raffle.

Guests were all deeply moved and inspired hearing from Chai client Jordan Rinsler, who shared his powerful and honest story. He described the crucial role Chai played in his cancer journey, when, shortly after his 29th birthday, he was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin lymphoma in October 2023.
