Kids Artisan Market raised more than £1,500 for Chai’s Children, Teenage and Family Service

The hugely popular ‘Kids Artisan Market’ returned for its third year on Sunday 12^th March. The event, organised by the Forever Chai Committee, took place in Prestwich and welcomed more than 150 people through its doors.

The Market showcased a range of skills from creative young entrepreneurs with 17 stalls selling everything from handmade jewellery and homeware to toys and sweet treats – and even a miniature petting zoo!

The room had a real buzz and the fun-filled afternoon raised over £1,500 towards Chai’s Children, Teenage and Family Service in the Northwest.

Following the event, stall holder, Koby Berens (10) said: “I really love taking part in the Chai Artisan Market – it took a lot of time to make up all the sweet cones but it’s all worth it knowing that the money raised goes to such a special charity.”

Jilly Berens, Chai’s Northwest Fundraiser said: “This is one of my favourite events to host! I love that the children are working hard with their own creations, but it is also teaching the importance of giving back to charity.”
