On Wednesday 22nd March, 11-year-old, Sarah Garson chose to cut her long hair for the second time in aid of Chai. Her selfless act has raised £1,808 for Chai.
Sarah said: “I have spent the last 2 years growing my hair. I know that there are little children who are not well, who sadly don’t have any hair. My hair will be made into a wig, so that other children like me, can also have hair on their head.”
Sarah’s hair will be donated to Zichron Menachem, who make much-needed wigs for children who have lost their hair during treatment.
Chai would like to thank Sarah for her bravery, dedication and amazing fundraising efforts!
