“It just didn’t make sense…

… My daughter Gemma had recently celebrated her 40th birthday and now she was telling me she had bowel cancer.

Quite simply our whole world fell apart. It’s something you don’t ever imagine happening to your child.

Although we have wonderful family and friends, Chai offered something else.

From the moment we contacted them, the speed in which they put support into action was outstanding. We were immediately offered counselling and have since had acupuncture, reflexology, dietary advice and more.

Gemma’s medical team took care of the cancer, but Chai took care of us all as a family. They gave us something money can’t buy – their support has really been priceless. ”

Chai is currently supporting 3,600 cancer patients and their loved ones. Without any statutory funding, the generosity of our loyal supporters makes what we do possible.
